Met. Hilarion on perpetrators of war: Praying for God to admonish madmen
On September 24, 2022, the day when the monastics and pilgrims celebrated All Saints' Day at the Svyatogorsk Lavra, Metropolitan Hilarion of Donetsk and Mariupol delivered a greeting to the monastery's brethren, reports the “1Kozak” TG channel.
"I ask your prayers to the Svyatogorsk saints, that the Lord will finally admonish all those madmen who have done what does not fit in the mind, all that happened today in our Donbass... May God grant peace, and may Our Lady wipe away all tears," said Vladyka Hilarion.
All those present at the solemn service at the Svyatogorsk Lavra, the clergy, monks and laity, listened to the words of the archpastor, holding their breath and not being embarrassed by tears.
As reported, on September 24, the Holy Dormition Svyatogorsk Lavra had its first festive service in 2022, to which guests were able to come to the monastery.
